So tasty! Excellent served over egg noodles.

Spicy Beef Goulash
Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean beef
- 4 slices bacon chopped
- 2 medium onions sliced
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 large green pepper chopped
- 1 can 19 oz. tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Cut beef into bite sized cubes. In a heavy saucepan brown the bacon. Add onion and cook until softened. Add the paprika and cook and stir for 30 seconds. Then add the meat cubes and all other ingredients except the sour cream.
- Cover and cook over low heat until meat is tender, about 1 1/2 hours, stirring often.
- Just before serving, mix the flour and sour cream together and stir into the goulash. Do not boil. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
