This is a really easy and tasty chicken recipe. I used to make this “back home” when I was a teenager, and we thought it was very fancy.
Lemon Baked Chicken
- 4 chicken legs
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Rub garlic salt into chicken. Sprinkle with paprika and oregano. Place skin side down in a baking dish.
- Top with lemon peel and pour lemon juice and water over top. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes. Turn skin side up and bake another 20 minutes, basting once or twice
