Instant Pot
July 2021 – Instant Pot is the brand name of an electronic pressure cooker that has quite a following in North America.
My Mom and Grandma did not have a pressure cooker. In their day, pressure cookers were a stovetop pot, and we had all heard stories of someone who had their pressure cooker explode!
Well, the Instant Pot company has made their brand a household name, by eliminating this fear of pressure cookers (they have a bunch of built in safety features to prevent this from happening), and making pressure cooking easy and fun.
I am kind of late to the Instant Pot game, and sorry I waited so long to get one. It is quite a game changer. I still get a kick out of throwing some ingredients into the pot, sealing it up, and coming back a few minutes later to a fully cooked meal!
I first got the 6 quart Instant Pot Duo. I used it constantly, and soon decided to add its little sister, the 3 quart Instant Pot Mini, to the family.
