Honey, dates and walnuts combine in this tasty bar recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup liquid honey
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Combine honey, eggs and vanilla and beat well to blend.
  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to honey mixture and stir to combine. Stir in dates and nuts.
  • Spread in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F. until nicely browned and top springs back when touched lightly.
