These are soooo good! And also grain and refined sugar free. I keep them in the freezer and just take them out a few minutes before enjoying.
Grain-Free Browned Butter Walnut Bars
- 2 cups walnuts
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Place walnuts and butter in a skillet and cook over medium heat until butter foams, is fragrant, and browns. Remove from heat and stir in honey. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Place remaining ingredients in food processor and whirl to combine. Add walnut mixture and process until the mixture comes together. It does not have to be completely smooth, some walnut chunks are good.
- Spread in an 8 inch square pan and refrigerate until firm.
- Cut into squares and store in the fridge or freezer.
