Is there anything better than a homemade chocolate chip cookie, fresh out of the oven?

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips


  • Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, and continue to beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla.
  • Mix flour, baking soda and salt together. Gradually add to creamed mixture and stir until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees F. for 18 to 24 minutes.
